Mastroberardino can be defined as an icon of the Irpinia region and is among the best-known wineries for the production of high quality native wines. Founded in 1878 in Atripalda, in the province of Avellino, Mastroberardino counts over 200 hectares of vineyards in different areas and boasts over a century of history. Production is carried out with great attention to environmental impact, in order to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and limit the consumption of water and electricity. Mastroberardino is undoubtedly known internationally for its “Radici Taurasi Riserva”, a wine of great excellence, produced almost entirely from Aglianico grapes.

Galardi was born in 1991 from the desire to propose a wine of unique excellence, an expression of the noblest tradition of Southern Italy, in a volcanic territory famous since pre-Roman times for its fertility. In 1993, the debut on the wine scene of Terra di Lavoro was a great success, acclaimed with enthusiasm from the most authoritative Italian and international critics, including the great Luigi Veronelli, who listed it several times among the best Italian wines of all time. On the slopes of the ancient volcano of Roccamonfina facing the splendid Gulf of Gaeta, the Galardi vineyards, olive groves and chestnut groves form an agricultural and natural environment carefully cultivated following the principles of organic farming.  Respect for nature is carried on in the cellar, where Terra di Lavoro, a balanced blend of Aglianico and Piedirosso, is aged in oak barrels, resulting in a wine of extraordinary structure.
