Dom Perignon

ÈPERNAY

Dom Pérignon is undoubtedly the best-known Champagne label in the world, and is a symbol of elegance and prestige. Dom Perignon owes its name to Abbot Pierre Pérignon who first discovered this sparkling wine in the 17th century, in the Abbey of Saint-Pierre d’Hautvillers, near Epernay. The typical blend contains the grape varieties Chardonnay (fresh and delicate) and Pinot Noir (powerful) coming exclusively from vineyards classified as “Grand Cru” and to a lesser extent from the “Premier Cru” of Hautviller. Dom Perignon produces its vintages only in the best years, while the limited editions, expressions of an ideal of perfection, are made exclusively in exceptional years.

Wines:

Dom Perignon Vintage, Rosè, P2, P3.

Krug

REIMS

In 1843, the passionate and ambitious Joseph Krug founded La Maison Krug, based on a relentless pursuit of perfection, and stored an extensive library of reserve wines in his historic cellar. The most prestigious cuvées produced by the winery are the Clos du Mesnil and the Clos d’Ambonnay. A peculiarity of this Maison is that each cuvée bears a 6-digit code on the back label, from which information on the bottle can be retrieved, as well as suggestions on storage and tasting.

Louis Roederer

The Maison de Champagne Louis Roederer rose to international fame thanks to “Cristal”, the first crystal Champagne bottle with a flat bottom and golden label. It is said that in 1876 Tsar Alexander II, fearful of being poisoned, asked the Maison to produce a transparent bottle that would show its contents. Along with its beautiful aesthetics, the bottle is of course also one of the Grand Cru of Champagne, based on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, selected from the best lots and only in the best vintages.

Brut Premier, Brut Nature, Brut Rosé, Cristal, Cristal Rosé, Cristal Vinotheque.

Egly Ouriet

The quality of Egly-Ouriet is rooted not only in tradition but also in a very peculiar chalky soil, which gives the grapes an equally unique taste. The company is one of the few that also produces a Champagne based on Pinot Noir, with a rounded yet mineral taste.
